Gardening…..Finally

It’s been raining the past few days but yesterday afternoon, I was able to garden. I transferred my Lourdes plants in bigger hanging pots together with my Epischa plant and those green hanging plants. Forgot their names.

Rearranged and replanted these.
Planted these outside our perimeter wall and they are thriving well.
My scented Kamuning
Crossandra
They call it white Angel but I’m not sure.

I don’t have to water the garden every day because it is rainy season now.

What A Lovely Suprise

Honest, I can ‘t get enough of the scents of my Cinamumu, Kamuning and Camia every time I visit the garden nowadays. They are all blooming at the same time. I got a lovely suprise when what was left of my airplant is this.

Such a lovely bloom.

Last New Year’s day, Nissa brought two varieties of Monstera which were gifts from Obet’s sister to me. I just love them.

This was one with the big leaves is Monstera Delisiosa otherwise known as Swiss Cheese plant.
This is Monstera Adansoni

They are lovely additions to my garden.

My Camia

First time I nurtured this plant. It was given by a friend a few months ago. The scent, the scent….oh so sweet.

I love, love its white petals.
This one is next…

Gardener’s Dream

Yesterday, I had an early morning visit to the garden. I pruned our Arius tree, trimmed my Kamuning plants and repotted some that I bought two months ago. Then I took these photos.

It used to be pink then it turned into orange again.
Yeay, my Shaghai Beauty.
My new pots. Repotted some of the plants I bought two months ago.
Can you see that tiny bud. It’s my first time to grow Camia.
And these….my new shrimp plants.

This Is Just Lovely

One of Nissa’s gifts during my birthday is this lovely plant called Rattlesnake Calathea (the one in the middle). It is commonly called prayer plant. I have another variety of this in my garden.

I didn’t even know that this could be used as indoor plant. I transferred and repotted some plants yesterday. The garden is doing good.

Oh, To See Such Lovely Blooms

Spent the early morning weeding and admiring the flowers in my garden. I have some new ones I bought yesterday. Delivery of the plants was free.

I finally found whìte Aster, an addition to my addiction to white flowers.
It is called Snow White. The leaves turn variegated white as it grows.
It is called Bacularis, a family of snake plants. The leaves are rounded.
Sweet Basil. I hope it grows well so I could make pesto sauce.
A white Zinnia
So lucky to have two colors of Zinnia in one pot.

I love those yellow Zinnia flowers.
Java Mint. Tried it in a hot cup of coffee this morning. It was so good.
I was not lucky in the past to grow eggplants so I bought two pots.
Poprice, a family of Sedum
I have a pot of Parsley….finally.
Locally, they call this Palong. It’s Celosia. Tried growing some from seeds but they died after one flowering.
A pink Begonia. I am looking for a red one.
Look, this eggplant has flowers.

What’s In A Garden

Ah, I could not get enough of the flowers in my garden. Ibwant to document every bloom. I already transferred my button plants along with the two Aster I bought a few days ago.

My Bridal Bouquet is blooming now.
They call this White Angel and the flowers are quite similar to the Kamuning blooms and Bridal Bouquet.
A close-up of my Aster bloom.
I just bought two pots.
Planted these violet and white Button plants in a corner. They are thriving well.
They call this Devil’s Backbone. I need to replant them but I don’t have enough pots.

Morning Gifts

Finally, my Bridal Bouquet is in bloom. Tiny flowers that add to my collection of white. They actually look like my Kamuning.

Garden Finds

Quite ashamed. I think it’s been more than a year since I posted here but you can always visit my main blog DREAMS AND ESCAPES (arlene1956.wordpress.com).

I am presently enamoured with white flowers. Aside from those I have posted here earlier, I was able to find more blooms yesterday. Here are some plants I haven’t posted here yet.

These are called button flowers, otherwise known as Globe Amaranth and Bachelor’s Button.
My white Ruellia. I used to have only the purple ones but over the years, white and pink sprouted.
Ah, my scented Kamuning. It replaced my dead Gardenia.
Just bought these yesterday, an orange and yellow Cosmos.
Yeay for white button flowers.
It is called Bridal Bouquet and has white flowers too
Snow White. Look at the variagated leaves. They look like flowers of the plant.
Sunshine. What a lovely name for a plant. It bears white flowers too.
Which is more colorful, the orange or yellow Cosmos.

My pink Ruellia. Used it to greet the new month.

There are actually plenty more. Will upload them some other time.

Welcome To My Tiny Garden

Just done trimming the carabao grass early this morning. A sort of a back-breaking job since it is hard to trim the grass in between the stepping stones.  I took shots of some plants but they were a bit blurred in the early morning.

The front garden with Pandakaki pants, Fukien tea and Kamuning and others I can’t identify.

How come I always forget the name of this plant?

My hanging Ube plant.

My lone guava tree in front of the two jackfruit trees.

Dwarf Snake plants

Ferns and Ti plants
